An ECVSMR Residency Program is a training program that has been approved by the Education Committee. The program should allow graduate veterinarians to acquire in-depth knowledge of sports medicine and rehabilitation and its supporting disciplines under the direction of a Diplomate.
A training program will only be approved if it provides supervised training, postgraduate education, and clinical experience in the science and practice of sports medicine and rehabilitation.
If you would like to offer a residency program at your institute, please download the documents below and send them completed to the ECVSMR Office (info@ecvsmr.org).
If you have any questions about registering your program, do not hesitate to contact us. The Education Committee will be happy to help.
Once your facility has been recognized as a training center, you do not need to ask for permission to start training a resident. The only thing you need to do at that point is to notify the ECVSMR Office. We will register the resident with the Education Commitee and the Resident Committee.
